5 Tips to Use Your Dishwasher Properly and Energy Efficient
Fill the dishwasher
Don’t run the dishwasher after each meal if it’s not completely full.
Choosing the right mode
If the dishes are lightly soiled, the quick mode may be appropriate. However, if the dishes are very dirty or have dried out, it is better to use the economy mode. It lasts longer but uses less water and energy.
Look at the instructions for each mode in your dishwasher to see how much each mode consumes
Newer machines have an AUTO mode that adjusts consumption to the amount of dishes and the degree of soiling. Consumption would therefore be lower when the dishwasher is in half-load mode and the dishes are lightly soiled.
Maintain your machine well
For good washing results, the filter needs to be cleaned regularly at the bottom of the tank. If debris remains on the plates or dishes, that’s where it will end up.
Use salt
Make sure there is enough salt to soften the water and rinse liquid in the tanks. don’t forget to wash the joints from time to time to prevent the growth of mold.
